Golden Triangle Animal Hospital, located just outside Dallas in Southlake, Texas, is an AAHA-accredited hospital providing veterinary care for dogs and cats. We offer routine medical, surgical, dental care, as well as boarding and daycare services. We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. You will support our skilled Vet Assistants, Credentialed Veterinary Technicians, and DVMs in daily hospital operations. Position Responsibilities

• Assist DVMs and veterinary technicians with appointments, surgical prep, and procedures
• Restrain animals safely and compassionately
• Obtain and record vital signs and medical histories
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples
• Maintain medical equipment and tools
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient updates and questions

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling
• Strong communication skills, good judgment, ability to work under stress, and team collaboration
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation ranges from $16 to $22/hour based on experience.
