Job summary

Maple Leaf Veterinary Care Center in Seattle seeks an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. This full-time role features a 4×10-hour schedule with no weekends and competitive hourly pay.

You will support veterinarians with radiographs, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, blood collection, vaccinations, nursing care, client education, and prescription handling while delivering excellent patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a veterinary assistant.
• Ability to perform radiographs and assist during surgery.
• Comfort with anesthesia monitoring and patient restraint.
• Strong client communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Take digital full-body radiographs.
• Assist veterinarians during surgery and monitor anesthesia.
