Join the VCA Saginaw Team! We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Location: 817 North Saginaw Boulevard


VCA Saginaw has served Saginaw, Fort Worth, and surrounding areas with compassionate veterinary care for 30 years (under VCA for the past eight years). We have three full-time DVMs, are proudly AAHA accredited, and focus on small animal and exotic medicine. Teamwork is constant in our daily practice, and our team is dedicated to making it their mission to help pets live long healthy lives. We are focused on providing the best patient care, and to do so, we rely on our passion and teamwork to make our clients feel as if they have received top-quality services. Each member is equally important in helping our patients and clients.


The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

As a member of the VCA team, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:

  • Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
  • Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
  • Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
  • Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
  • Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
  • Maintaining medical records.
  • Assisting our wonderful Doctor and Technician staff as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
