Job Opening: Veterinary Assistant at Bush Veterinary Neurology Service, Richmond, VA

Bush Veterinary Neurology Service in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding team.

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about learning neurological anatomy and functions.
• Skilled in patient restraint with a desire to deepen understanding of neurologic patient care.
• Attentive to details, able to recognize changes in patient behavior and condition.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Enjoys client education, including intake and discharge instructions.
• Flexible to adapt to individual patient needs and proactive in seeking clarification.
• Maintains composure and positivity in stressful situations.
• Experience with EzyVet and SmartFlow is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $20-24/hour, based on experience.

Schedule:

• Flexibility and team-oriented attitude.

Additional Requirements:

• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. with proper documentation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
