All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in Princeton, WV is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support our medical team, care for patients, and contribute to an exceptional client experience. You’ll assist veterinarians during exams, monitor vitals, help with lab work, educate owners, and help maintain a clean, organized clinic in a collaborative, growth-minded environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
• Experience with dog behavior or professional animal handling is a major plus.
• Strong verbal communication skills and deep empathy for both pets and their owners.
• Highly teachable, organized, and detail-oriented approach to your daily tasks.
• Composure: stay calm, professional, and grounded under pressure.
• Versatility: comfort handling animals of all sizes.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures.
• Administer medications safely as directed.
• Help the medical team with catheter placement and lab work.
• Monitor patient vitals, comfort levels, and behavior.
• Feed, clean, bathe, and deeply comfort our patients.
• Keep the clinic clean, organized, sterile, and ready for care.
• Safely handle and gently restrain animals of all sizes.
• Educate pet owners on home care and medications with clarity and empathy.
• Support the overall clinical team with daily operational tasks.
