Job summary

All Creatures Veterinary is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to support our medical team, care for patients, and enhance the client experience. We offer a three-day workweek with no weekends, comprehensive benefits, and generous PTO, plus mentorship and ongoing growth opportunities.

You will assist veterinarians, administer medications, monitor vitals, and educate pet owners on home care. A positive, team-focused attitude is essential for this supportive, drama-free clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills and deep empathy for both pets and their owners.
• Ability to educate pet owners on home care and medications.

Responsibilities

• Help the medical team with catheter placement and lab work.
• Monitor patient vitals, comfort levels, and behavior.
• Feed, clean, bathe, and deeply comfort our patients.

• Safely handle and gently restrain animals of all sizes.
• Educate pet owners on home care and medications with clarity and empathy.
• Support the overall clinical team with daily operational tasks.
