Job summary

Animal Clinic Northview in North Ridgeville, OH is hiring a Veterinary Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, full-time setting. You will assist veterinarians and technicians, restrain animals safely, prepare exam rooms and support patient care throughout hospitalization.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical veterinary experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift and handle animals safely and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Safely restrain animals for diagnostics and care
• Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
• Support hospitalized patient care including monitoring, feeding, and walking
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
• Assist with laboratory samples and basic diagnostics
• Stock supplies and ensure equipment is ready for use
• Provide support to clients and contribute to a positive hospital experience

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time, four 10 hour shifts (multiple schedules available)
• Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of rotation
• Starting pay $18/hr - $20/hr based on experience
