Job summary

VCA Lake Shore Animal Hospital in Chicago seeks a Veterinary Assistant to support doctors and technicians while delivering compassionate care to dogs and cats. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn in a well-established AAHA-accredited hospital.

You'll help restrain pets, prepare rooms, assist with procedures, collect histories, monitor hospitalized patients, maintain records, and support client communication in a collaborative team.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare surgical packs.
• Assist with laboratory samples and diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate medical records.

Compensation

$18.00 - $23.00/hour Pay range is negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and credentials.
