Kyle Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team and support exceptional experiences for clients and patients across all aspects of hospital care. This full-time position features a 4/10 schedule with Monday–Friday availability and rotating Saturdays in Kyle, TX.

You will assist with exams, outpatient procedures, and dental workflows, handle patients safely, maintain records, and educate clients while delivering compassionate service in a fast-paced practice.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years in veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel, or related role preferred.
• Proficiency in safe animal handling and restraint for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments.
• Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
• Compassionate, professional communication with clients and team members.

In This Position You Will Take an Active Role In:

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Providing safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during outpatient and procedural care
• Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment documentation
• Building positive client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service
• Maintaining clean, organized, and fully prepared exam rooms, treatment areas, and procedural spaces

Schedule and Compensation:

• Compensation: $17-$20 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is afull-timeposition with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set:
