Position Purpose
The Veterinary Assistant provides excellent medical care to hospital patients and exceptional customer service to clients. They support the technical and customer support teams, fostering cohesion and motivation within the practice.

Essential Job Functions
The incumbent must perform duties such as greeting clients, recording medical records, assisting with procedures, patient restraint, laboratory sample processing, medication handling, scheduling, client education, assisting with anesthesia, in-hospital treatments, and maintaining a clean hospital environment.

Other Duties
Perform additional duties as assigned, including backup front desk support.

Supervision and Planning
The Veterinary Assistant works under supervision from veterinarians and veterinary technicians, contributing to efficient hospital operations and high-quality care.

Qualifications
