About the RoleRoadside Veterinary Clinic is looking for a dedicated, skilled Veterinary Assistant with at least 5 years of experience in a hospital setting to join our compassionate and energetic team.
This is an advanced position requiring technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. You'll be an integral part of our patient care team—working directly with clients, supporting surgical procedures, and monitoring anesthesia.
Your Skill Set Should Include: Proficiency in venipuncture and IV catheter placement Surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring Accurate calculation of anesthesia and medical math Intubation and post-op patient care Familiarity with vaccination protocols and patient history collection Comfortable interacting with clients and pets in exam rooms
Clinic Hours️ Mon–Thurs: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM️ Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM️ Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Tools & Technology We Use Practice Software: Rhapsody In-house Lab: Zoetis Equipment???? AI Charting: ScribeNote Orthopedic Surgeries: Performed by visiting specialists We care for exotic animals too!
