This hospital is a fast-paced emergency facility dedicated to patient and family care. The successful overnight Veterinary Assistant must be comfortable assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, understanding patient care and treatment plans, critical thinking, monitoring patients, filling prescriptions, animal restraint, performing x-rays and proper positioning, and providing exceptional patient care during evening hours with hospitalized patients.
