Green Mountain Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team! We are a four‑doctor small‑animal practice located in the Golden/Lakewood/Arvada area. Our practice offers a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with a focus on both technical skill and professional staff development.

Role Details

• Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Status: Full‑time
• Salary: $20–$23 per hour
• Schedule: 4 × 10‑hour shifts, rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Obtaining diagnostics (radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection) and performing in‑house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
• Simplified documentation of patient records and client interactions
