Green Mountain Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team! We are a four‑doctor small‑animal practice located in the Golden/Lakewood/Arvada area. Our practice offers a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with a focus on both technical skill and professional staff development.
Role Details
- Role: Experienced Veterinary Assistant
- Status: Full‑time
- Salary: $20–$23 per hour
- Schedule: 4 × 10‑hour shifts, rotating Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
- Obtaining diagnostics (radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection) and performing in‑house lab work
- Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
- Simplified documentation of patient records and client interactions
