Established in 2000, Springfield Veterinary Center is an AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital known for exceptional patient care and a close-knit, professional team. We also specialize in veterinary reproduction, offering services like PennHIP/OFA radiographs, progesterone testing, and advanced insemination techniques. Whether you're experienced or new to Theriogenology, our seasoned LVTs are here to mentor and support your learning.
Compensation: $16-$17/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with a rotating Saturday
As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll be a vital member of our clinical team. Your responsibilities may include:
Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, experience with lab equipment and dental/surgical monitoring, familiarity with vaccine protocols and preventative care. Interest in reproductive medicine is a plus but not required.

Externships for Vet Techs and Vet Students available.
Assist veterinarians and techs, prepare animals for exams and surgery, perform medical treatments, conduct lab tests, administer medications, handle specimens, and maintain a safe, clean facility.
