Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking a skilled Veterinary Assistant to support care for hospitalized and critical patients. You will confidently place IV catheters, assist with diagnostics, and help veterinarians during treatments in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role requires 5 years of veterinary assisting experience, strong restraint skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering compassionate care and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Confidence in IV catheter placement and jugular blood draws.
• Strong patient handling and restraint skills.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and compassionate in high-stress situations.
• Ability to participate in any area of the clinic as needed.
