Job summary

Suncook River Veterinary Clinic in Epsom, NH is seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our Rarebreed clinic. We provide fear‑free care and use state‑of‑the‑art technology.

You will support exams, maintain records, prepare rooms, and assist with procedures while offering excellent client service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Team player with compassion for pets and their people.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones.
  • Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy.
  • Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas.
  • Perform physical assessments and record observations.
  • Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients.
  • Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions.
  • Stock clinic treatment area and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered.
  • Care for all surgical materials and keep the operating room stocked and prepared for surgery.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
