Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our veterinarians and technicians in delivering top-notch medical care, ensuring the well-being of our patients, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
• Safely restrain animals for treatments and diagnostics.
• Administer medications and vaccinations under supervision.
• Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, feces).
• Perform basic diagnostic tests, including radiographs and blood tests.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Educate clients on general animal care, nutrition, and post-treatment instructions.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of examination rooms, surgical areas, and kennels.
• Manage inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phones.

Schedule

Full-time opportunity. Flexible scheduling, including evenings, and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
