Job summary

Livewell Animal Hospital in Chevy Chase, MD, is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join a small but mighty team dedicated to exceptional patient care. The role offers a competitive hourly rate ($22–$26) and a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays, or a part-time schedule up to 2pm.

As a partner in growth, you will help develop workflows, contribute to surgical support, educate clients, and maintain a calm, collaborative clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence handling pets of all sizes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills across lab, pharmacy, nursing and radiology is a strong asset.
