Are you passionate about providing outstanding patient care and exceptional client service? If so, we would love to hear from you! Redwood Animal Hospital is a well-established practice with a commitment to unparalleled patient care and exceptional customer service. We are a small, busy general practice clinic and see dogs, cats, pocket pets, exotics, and anything else that will fit through our door. We are looking to add a part-time veterinary assistant to our team!

We are more than a group of compassionate veterinary professionals; we are a supportive team that believe in a 'better together' philosophy and strive to cross-train and educate our staff so that we can all find a growth path. Although we are primarily looking for a part-time candidate to work Monday through Thursday (typically 5 - 6 hour shifts, around 20 hours a week), we are open to a full-time role for the right candidate. Pay for this position ranges from $18 - $22 an hour dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring
• Competency in emergency and perioperative care
• Diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy and sample collection, and in-house lab work
• Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff.
• Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by DVM or Hospital Manager
