Job summary

VCA Broadway Animal Hospital and Pet Center in Boulder, CO is seeking a friendly Veterinary Assistant to join our general practice team. We are AAHA-accredited, strive to minimize stress for patients, and support a collaborative, compassionate environment for families and their pets.

You will assist with venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, exams, surgical prep and assisting, dentistry, and laboratory work, while delivering excellent client service and helping

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Ability to perform venipuncture, catheter placement and basic radiology.
• Comfort with anesthesia monitoring and patient handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Support radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and physical examinations.
• Prepare and assist in surgical procedures; dental and laboratory tasks.
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear client communication.

VCA Broadway Animal Hospital and Pet Center is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We are a general practice located in beautiful Boulder, CO. Proudly accredited by AAHA, designated as an AAFP Silver Cat Friendly Practice, and staffed with several CAETA Peaceful Euthanasia certified members, we provide exceptional care while striving to minimize stress for our patients.

Location: Boulder, CO

Pay: $18.00-$24.00/hour, depending on experience and skill set. Previous Veterinary experience preferred.

Schedule: Part-time, 3x10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays
