Great Lakes Hospital for Animals is seeking a compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our busy team. This hands-on role supports veterinarians, technicians, CSRs, and fellow assistants while providing excellent care for patients and great service to clients.
We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, a four-day work week for full-time staff, scholarship opportunities through our Penn Foster partnership, and a range of benefits including medical and dental insurance and a 401(k).

Our Veterinary Assistants play an important role in patient care and hospital flow. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys helping animals, supporting teammates, and making a difference every day.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Veterinary experience is a plus, but we are also interested in candidates with strong animal-handling, medical, or service experience who are eager to grow.

Great Lakes Hospital for Animals is open Monday through Saturday.
Full-time team members typically enjoy a four-day work week. Schedules may include a combination of daytime and evening shifts, with Saturdays typically scheduled only once every 3–4 weeks.
Both full-time and part-time schedules will be considered.
