Animal Medical Center of the Lowcountry is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate team in Beaufort, South Carolina. This full‑time position offers a flexible schedule with options for four 10‑hour shifts or five 8‑hour shifts—no weekends. Salary is negotiable and based on experience and licensure.

What You’ll Do
- Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
- Support preventive care and vaccine protocols
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
- Provide attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
- Place IV catheters and assist with emergency and surgical care
- Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in‑house laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate patient records and client communications
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
- Support daily hospital operations and patient care needs
What Our Veterinary Team Members Bring
