Hillside Small Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone with basic training who wants to grow in the veterinary field.
In this role, you’ll help veterinarians and technicians with handling pets during exams, vaccines, and blood draws. You’ll also help keep exam and treatment areas clean and ready throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who’s a team player, stays organized, and enjoys helping wherever needed.
This is a full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays. We are also open to part-time scheduling for the right person.

Hillside Small Animal Hospital is a full-service companion animal practice serving Batavia and Cincinnati’s east side suburbs. Our hospital focuses exclusively on dogs and cats, combining family-oriented, relationship-based care with advanced medical capabilities. Services include wellness programs, internal medicine workups, dermatology, comprehensive dentistry with digital dental radiographs, as well as soft tissue and orthopedic surgery such as cruciate repair and fracture plating. Our dedicated team—comprised of two veterinarians, four registered technicians, and experienced support staff—is known for our clear communication and delivering “star treatment” compassion to all of our patients!
