Overview

Mill Brook Animal Clinic is a 1.5‑doctor general practice located in Arlington, Massachusetts. We are a technician/assistant‑driven clinic that empowers our team to work to their maximum potential. We seek a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Assistant with 1+ years of experience (surgical experience is a plus) who brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, a passion for patient care, and a collaborative team mindset to a fun and diverse workplace.

Veterinary Assistant

$22.00–$27.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
  • Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
  • Keep accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
  • Prepare and maintain the exam rooms and treatment areas
  • Perform physical assessments and record observations
  • Prepare estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients
  • Explain necessary follow‑up and home care instructions
  • Stock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be ordered
  • Care for all surgical materials and keep the operating room properly stocked and prepared for surgery
