Job summary

The Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center at Iowa State University seeks a full-time faculty member in Anesthesiology (clinical or tenure track). You will join a team of three faculty anesthesiologists to provide patient care, teach, and develop scholarly programs. Start date negotiable; ACVAA/ECVAA residency preferred for trainees and staff.

Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching, and outreach with a 24-hour hospital team. Rank and track commensurate with credentials.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Residency in ACVAA or ECVAA required before start date.
• Iowa veterinary license on or before first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and laboratory courses in veterinary anesthesiology.
• Provide clinical training for technicians and house officers.
• Develop scholarship, teaching, and outreach activities in anesthesiology.
• Share weekend, holiday, and after-hours clinical duties.
