Job summary

Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree required for veterinary licensure.
- Three years of clinical practice experience in academic, private practice, or shelter settings.
- State of Iowa Veterinary License on or before first day of employment.
- Preferred: advanced degrees and extensive surgical experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach throughout all four years of the veterinary curriculum as part of a Surgery, Anesthesia, and Community Outreach team.
- Lead didactic and laboratory surgical teaching, patient care, course organization and development.
- Support clinical skill development in the Clinical Skills laboratory.
- Engage in collaborative clinical and educational research activities and institutional service.
