Description

Diagnostic Service – Perform diagnostic pathology duties including necropsies and biopsies with histopathologic examinations of these cases, writing reports, and consultation and advice to clinical veterinarians, producers and owners.

  • Teaching – Contribute to the teaching mission of the college. Opportunities exist to teach in the DVM program, Veterinary Technology program, and the anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, microbiology, poultry, and laboratory animal medicine residency programs.
  • Research – Maintain a program of scholarly activities, which may include independent research or participation in collaborative research, providing continuing education/outreach to ADDL constituencies, presentations at local, regional and/or national meetings, and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Academic service is expected to include but is not limited to, departmental, college, and university committees; professional organizations; and editorial or grant review panels.
