Job Responsibility:
Emergency Veterinary Hospital of Coeur d'Alene is seeking professional and skilled veterinary admission assistants to join our team-oriented group. This is a privately owned Emergency practice that provides outstanding patient care. Full-time or part-time positions are available, with the hospital open 24/7. Excellent client communication and medical terminology are required for this position, along with experience in veterinary hospitals. Wages are competitive to premium and based on experience. Benefits offered to full-time positions include health insurance contribution, vacation time, CE, uniform, and personal pet care discounts, among others.

You will have the opportunity to excel in client and patient assistance, admission, triage, and discharge of patients. Every shift, you will have the rewarding opportunity to assist pets and owners and expand your knowledge of veterinary medicine. This requires occasional lifting of patients up to 50 lbs. As part of the team, you will participate in admission and discharge, prepare exam rooms and kennels for the next patient, and assist technicians and doctors with patients and treatments, including entering record information and answering phone calls.
