The Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of Marinis looking to add a full-time board-certified or residency-trained Surgeon to our well-established and growing 24-hour hospital come fall 2026

About Us:

PESCM is a 24-hour emergency and specialty veterinary hospital. Our state-of-the-art, 28,000 sq. ft. veterinary hospital is staffed around the clock with talented emergency and specialty doctors and support positions such as veterinary technicians, client service representatives, pharmacy technicians and more. Our leadership team is a core group of long-term employees, promoted from within, who have a combined 50+ years of PESCM experience. Our team culture is highly focused on learning and development, and we wear the badge of a teaching hospital proudly. We are uniquely collaborative and familial in that coaching and mentorship are key to who we are. PESCM has 15 exam rooms, 16 treatment tables and 5 surgery suites. The hospital is equipped with sophisticated surgical facilities and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities, including Hallmarq MRI, 128-slice CT and two x-ray units (with horizontal beam capabilities), all with the support of our in-house radiologist.

PESCM is part of the Veritas Veterinary Partners (Veritas) network of emergency and specialty animal hospitals. The Role:

You would join our 3 surgeons as well as our department coordinators, RVTs, vet assistants, and instrument/ inventory technicians. The ideal candidate will be committed to practicing high level medicine and collaborating with our doctors and the referring community. They will have a passion for mentoring and growing support staff and interns and providing outstanding client service. We are seeking a surgeon who performs orthopedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures, and will support the hospital’s after-hours surgical needs (in collaboration with the other in-house surgeons and contracted surgeons).

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Highly competitive salary based on experience and schedule – with production, our Critical Care Specialists can expect to make $275,000-400,000/ year with additional production potential
