The Philadelphia location of BluePearl PA's Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (VSEC) hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinarian - Ophthalmologist to join two experienced DACVO colleagues with diverse, cutting-edge surgical expertise at our other local locations. We have trained, excellent technicians supporting this service, and offer a flexible schedule. We value enthusiastic, collegial candidates with excellent communication skills.

About Our Facility

Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (VSEC), a BluePearl hospital in Philadelphia, opened in 2013 and expanded in 2017 to 12,500 square feet. Our Philadelphia hospital employs over 50 veterinarians, fostering a collaborative environment with regular specialist consultations. We work closely with VSEC's Levittown hospital, a Level 1 Certified facility—the highest level of certification by the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society. Our team includes 6 boarded ECC clinicians and an anesthesiologist dedicated to managing critical care patients. We have 31 board-certified clinicians across various specialties including anesthesiology, cardiology, clinical pathology, dentistry & oral surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, holistic medicine & acupuncture, internal medicine, neurology/neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology, radiation oncology, and surgery.
