An exciting opportunity is available for aVeterinary Neurologist to join a highly experienced 24/7 emergency veterinary team in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in the Eugene-Springfield, OR area. This is the perfect role for a pioneering neurologist looking to expand their career in a collaborative, cutting-edge environment.

The ideal candidate will help lead the expansion of the neurology service, utilizing advanced equipment such as the Toshiba 128-slice CT, ultrasound, and digital x-rays to provide exceptional care to patients. The practice is focused on building a neurology department with the goal of offering top-tier specialty care in the region.

  • Collaborate with over 50 referring general practice hospitals.
  • Provide consultations, develop treatment plans, and perform surgeries as needed.
  • Contribute to the growth of the neurology service and establish it as a leading specialty in the area.

Qualifications:

  • DVM or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification in neurology preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in veterinary neurology is preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in neurology are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
