Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC)
EPVMC was founded on the belief that pets of the Lehigh Valley deserve access to advanced veterinary care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. What started as a commitment to emergency medicine has grown into a collaborative specialty hospital where doctors, technicians, assistants, and client care teams work together to support patients with complex medical needs.
As we continue to grow, our Internal Medicine Department is expanding. We are seeking a residency-trained or board-certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, advancing medical excellence, and helping shape the future of a growing specialty service.
This is not a solo role. You will be joining an existing internist, allowing for shared case management, collaboration on complex cases, and a more sustainable approach to scheduling and patient care.
Our Internal Medicine service is supported by a highly skilled team of credentialed veterinary nurses who understand the unique needs of specialty medicine.
EPVMC offers the advanced diagnostic capabilities and collaborative environment necessary to practice high-quality internal medicine. Our specialists have access to Karl Storz endoscopy equipment, GE Fortis ultrasound, MRI, CT, and fluoroscopy, along with a full in-house laboratory. The service benefits from a consistent referral and emergency caseload generated by our busy 24/7 Emergency Department, along with strong collaboration from Anesthesia, Critical Care, Cardiology, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Surgery, and Pain Management. This multidisciplinary approach allows our clinicians to manage complex cases while creating a seamless continuum of care for hospitalized and referral patients.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $180,000-$220,000 and a sign-on bonus of up to $50,000.
Our Comprehensive benefit package includes:
