Job summary

Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Merrifield is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our team. You’ll provide a full spectrum of small animal medicine, from wellness and dentistry to surgery, imaging and urgent care, working with a supportive group of doctors.

We offer a competitive base salary of $130,000–$150,000 plus production, flexible schedules with no on-call duties, AAHA accreditation, and a mentorship-focused environment designed to help you grow as a clinician.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure to practice in Virginia in good standing.
• Kind, compassionate approach that supports positive culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of small animal medicine including wellness, dentistry, surgery, imaging, internal medicine, pain management, senior care, and urgent cases.
• Collaborate with a deep bench of doctors for case discussion and professional growth.
• Adhere to AAHA standards and Fear Free handling to ensure high-quality, low-stress care.
