CareVet Health is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our community-rooted practices in Florida. We welcome new grads and experienced veterinarians, offering mentorship, support, and a collaborative team focused on excellent patient care.

Qualifications

  • Must have a DVM/VMD or equivalent degree.
  • Licensure in the state(s) where you will work.
  • Strong compassion for pets and their owners.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure for animal wellbeing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of animal behavior.
  • Experience using medical technologies in diagnosis and surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems.
  • Treat and dress wounds.
  • Perform surgery on animals.
  • Test for and vaccinate against diseases.
  • Operate medical equipment such as x-ray machines.
  • Advise owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments.
  • Prescribe medication.
  • Collaborate with team to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
