Job summary

Montecito Veterinary Center in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Veterinarian (DVM or VMD) to join a capable team within the Montecito Veterinary Center network. You’ll provide high-quality medical care to dogs, cats, birds, and exotic pets, with the support of in-house labs and modern imaging capabilities.

This full-time role offers three- to four-day workweeks with a five-day no-Saturday option, a 40-hour compensation structure of $160K–$170K plus production, and robust benefits including

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university
• Current State Veterinary License in good standing
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Client communication and education
• Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and controlled-substance protocols
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on priorities and daily operations
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge
