Job description

BluePearl Pittsburgh South is a hospital located in Washington, PA, in the South Hills of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. We are currently seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Dentist to join our team.

We are a close-knit, collegial group with a collaborative work ethic. We currently have 7 criticalists across our Pittsburgh locations, and we are looking to expand coverage in our South location. Our house officer program includes rotating interns, emergency and critical care interns and residents, and surgical interns and residents, fostering a team approach to patient care.

The hospital is a comprehensive multi-specialty and referral hospital. The 13,500 square-foot facility opened in 2017 and offers a variety of services, including after-hours emergency medicine on evenings and weekends, and specialists in critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, radiology, and surgery.

This location also houses advanced treatment and diagnostic services, including an on-site 64-slice CT, two ultrasound machines, video endoscopy, digital radiography, and dedicated suites for endoscopy and ultrasound. Additional services include a blood bank, a comprehensive in-house laboratory with commercial-grade equipment, and a pharmacy. An in-house social worker is available to support staff and clients.

BluePearl Pittsburgh North and Monroeville (now open!), our sister hospitals of South, offer additional services with close proximity to support South, including round-the-clock emergency medicine, advanced MRI, and specialists in various fields such as cardiology, critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, medical oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, radiation oncology, radiology, and surgery.
