Full time Veterinarian Criticalist - Superior Salary + Sign-On Bonus - Springfield, OR

We are looking for a full-time Veterinarian Criticalist to join our partner hospital team in Springfield, OR. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or equivalent degree, and be proficient in critical care medicine. The position will be responsible for providing critical care to hospitalized animals, as well as providing consultations to referring veterinarians. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical care to hospitalized animals
  • Provide consultations to referring veterinarians
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress
  • Administer medications and treatments
  • Perform diagnostic tests
  • Maintain patient records
  • Communicate with clients

Qualifications:

  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Board certification in critical care medicine (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary critical care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
