A leading veterinary facility in Springfield, OR is seeking a Veterinarian Criticalist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care medicine, be passionate about animal health, and possess exceptional communication skills to interact with both clients and referring veterinarians.

Focused work in critical care with high-impact patient outcomes
Provide critical care to hospitalized animals, ensuring timely and effective treatment
Consult with referring veterinarians to offer specialized guidance and treatment recommendations
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for critically ill patients
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary for optimal recovery
Administer medications and other therapeutic interventions
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide clinical decisions
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Communicate effectively with clients, explaining treatment plans and updates on patient progress
DVM or equivalent degree required
Board certification in critical care medicine is preferred but not mandatory
2+ years of experience in a veterinary critical care setting is highly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
A passion for providing top-tier care and improving patient outcomes in critical cases
