Garden State Veterinary Specialists is looking to add a full-time board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Criticalist to our well-established, rapidly growing 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital!

Garden State Veterinary Specialists was founded by Dr. Thomas Scavelli in 1994 and has served the community ever since. Located centrally in New Jersey, our ER/Specialty practice offers access to the beach, the Poconos, and the Catskill mountains, as well as vibrant cities like Philadelphia and New York. Our new, state-of-the-art 55,000 sq-ft facility in Eatontown features 25 exam rooms, 6 surgical suites, CT, MRI, linear accelerator, ICU with a 35-patient capacity, dialysis, and a 60-seat lecture hall. Our hospital culture is collaborative and fun, reflected in our high staff retention.

How you will make a difference:

You will join Garden State Veterinary Specialists and work alongside specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Medical and Radiation Oncology, Dermatology, Sports Rehab, and Emergency. With support from the medical director, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting our mission and enabling professional growth.

What you will bring:

As a Criticalist, you will apply your advanced education and experience to provide life-changing care. You will mentor support staff and intern doctors, collaborate with other specialists, and engage with the referring community, always committed to the highest standards of medical care and client service.

Schedule:

Full-time, 4-day work week
