We care for dogs, cats, and pocket pets with compassionate, high-quality medicine, using advanced technology in a friendly, collaborative atmosphere.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; over 25 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injury.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples and interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling around pet end-of-life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant laws and policies.

• Appropriate state licensure.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.

• Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
