Cold Spring Veterinary Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our growing, multi-doctor team. New graduates are welcome as you grow clinically alongside supportive colleagues and mentors.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• State licensure in good standing.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier lifts with help.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose diseases.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples; interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling on pet end-of-life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
