Cahuenga Veterinary Hospital, a beloved, privately-owned practice in the heart of historic Hollywood district.
We are seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian (2-3 days per week) to join our dedicated family.

As a new member of our team, you will practice in our warm, inviting, and completely remodeled facility. You’ll be supported by our exceptional technical staff, including 4 RVTs and 4 veterinary assistants, who are dedicated to helping you provide outstanding care.

What You can do or learn about :
In addition to providing exceptional preventive care and client education, our hospital is equipped to offer a diverse and interesting caseload, including:
Diagnostic Medicine: Utilizing our in-house lab suite, digital radiography, and ultrasound (most recent top of the line model with echo probe) to get accurate diagnoses.
Dentistry: Performing professional dental cleanings, digital dental radiography, and oral surgeries (extractions, etc.). Most of dental procedures are performed by our experienced RVTs
Internal Medicine: Managing a wide range of medical cases that will frequently require abdominal or chest ultrasound, oncology cases including diagnostics and treatment
Soft Tissue Surgery: Spays, neuters, mass removals, and other common procedures. More advanced surgeries including enterotomy, bowel resection, cystotomy, splenectomy, cholecystectomy etc. will be performed by the other DVM or the board certified surgeon.
Orthopedic surgeries : TPLO , FHO, medial patellar luxation fractures performed by a board certified surgeon.
Long-Term Relationship Building: Working with clients who trust us to care for their pets throughout their lives.

Competitive Compensation & Benefits: Pay is based on experience $120,000 - $160,000 Pro-Rated Equivalent, based on a 40-hour week. Our pro-rated benefits package includes paid vacation, CE allowance.
