St. Francis Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Sylvania, OH. We offer a base salary of $110,000–$120,000 plus production, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth in a modern facility serving the Toledo area.

The hospital provides digital imaging, in-house lab, dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, laser therapy, and advanced diagnostics, with a focus on compassionate care for companion animals.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
• State licensure in good standing.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility to practice in Ohio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.

Schedule

This is a full-time Associate DVM opportunity. The hospital is open Monday through Friday for veterinarian appointments, with technicians available on Saturday mornings. Doctors are not scheduled on Saturdays.
