Toro Park Animal Hospital is a well-established practice with a beautiful, newly remodeled facility designed to support exceptional patient care and an efficient clinical workflow. Our hospital features four exam rooms, including a dedicated cat‑only exam room; a large surgical suite; two treatment tables; a separate radiology room; kennel area; and dedicated doctor's office.
We offer comprehensive veterinary care, including preventive and wellness medicine, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, acupuncture, and laser therapy. Our doctors have access to modern technology and equipment to support a broad range of clinical interests, including:
Dr. Rockwood, a local native from off Highway 68, always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. As a child, she brought her pets to Toro Park Animal Hospital. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from UC Davis, where she also worked in the Large Animal ICU. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and has practiced on the Monterey Peninsula since. Her clinical interests include acupuncture, rehabilitation, dermatology, dentistry, and nutritional management. Outside of work, Dr. Rockwood enjoys hiking, traveling, and snowboarding with her son. Their fur family includes a playful Golden Retriever, a spunky Chihuahua mix, and a cat who keeps up with the dogs.
