What to Expect
  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $150,000–$175,000, plus production bonus, negotiable based on experience and part-time/full-time schedule.

  • Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM; Sunday: Closed.
  • A schedule that respects your time:Our flexible scheduling prioritizes your work-life balance—no late nights or on-call duties required. Appointment-based (30 minutes), last appointment is at 4:30 pm.

Meet our Owner, Dr. Lindsey Rockwood

Dr. Rockwood, a local native from off Highway 68, always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. As a child, she brought her pets to Toro Park Animal Hospital. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science from UC Davis, where she also worked in the Large Animal ICU. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and has practiced on the Monterey Peninsula since. Her clinical interests include acupuncture, rehabilitation, dermatology, dentistry, and nutritional management. Outside of work, Dr. Rockwood enjoys hiking, traveling, and snowboarding with her son. Their fur family includes a playful Golden Retriever, a spunky Chihuahua mix, and a cat who keeps up with the dogs.
