About the Hospital

St. Johns Veterinary Hospital is located in the historic city of St. Augustine, FL and has been providing exceptional pet care for over 40 years. The hospital has been enlarged to 10,000 square feet and remodeled to feature a state‑of‑the‑art intensive care area while preserving the charm of the original house.

We are a small animal facility that offers a dedicated cat clinic, exotics expertise, and wildlife rehabilitation. Each year our veterinarians care for more than 500 animals, including birds, reptiles, and mammals that are triaged, treated medically or surgically, and then transferred to local wildlife groups for rehabilitation.

We offer a wide range of diagnostics and state‑of‑the‑art equipment, including digital radiography, dental digital radiography, laparoscopy, ultrasound, endoscopy, and cold laser therapy. Our surgical suite and intensive care area are equipped with complete monitoring equipment such as ECG, pulse oximetry, and capnography. We also maintain an in‑house laboratory with CBC analyzer, serum chemistry & electrolyte analyzer, and culture and sensitivity testing.

We are seeking a growth‑oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative four‑doctor team. You will be supported by well‑trained, highly skilled technicians, CVTs, and administrative staff. This role emphasizes professional communication, compassionate care, and teamwork—all within a fun, supportive environment.
