Animal Medical Center of Plainfield is a modern, high-volume GP/ER hospital located just south of Naperville, built for comprehensive care under one roof. Here, our GP doctors can focus on wellness, preventive care, medical workups, dentistry, and scheduled appointments, while still having an in-hospital ER team nearby when urgent or complex cases require collaboration.

The Opportunity

• A GP-only role inside a 24/7 hospital, with emergency support available in-house.
• Practice top-tier general medicine with access to advanced diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and hospitalization resources.
• Partner with an in-hospital ER team while keeping your primary focus on scheduled GP care.
• Join a supportive, flexible, large DVM team where work/life balance is a stated priority.
• At least 3-5 years of DVM experience in a small animal GP setting is required for this role.

The Resources

• 21 veterinarians on the team in a 24-hour-capable hospital.
• 20 exam rooms and a state-of-the-art medical complex built in 2023.
• Two surgical suites for general surgery, orthopedics, and emergency surgery.
• Double dental suite with digital dental X-ray.
• Large in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, abdominal ultrasound, and echocardiogram options.
• Canine and feline ICU spaces, with separate isolation options for disease management.
• CT machine coming in 2027!

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting base salary range: $130,000 - $150,000.
