Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.

• Successful completion of NAVLE.

Position Overview

A well-established feline-only private veterinary practice in East Marietta is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its growing clinical team.

The practice provides dedicated veterinary care for feline patients and has established a strong relationship with its client community. Continued investment in facilities, equipment, and clinical services provides the veterinary team with access to modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

The hospital operates with a collaborative team structure, bringing together Veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) to support efficient patient care.

The Role

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive veterinary team providing comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, and preventative care to feline patients.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine and complex medical examinations and consultations.


• Developing diagnostic and treatment plans appropriate to individual patients.


• Performing a variety of medical, surgical, and dental procedures.


• Utilizing available diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography, advanced ultrasound, and endoscopy.


• Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans when required.


• Providing clear and informative communication to pet owners.


• Discussing preventative healthcare, treatment options, and ongoing management of chronic conditions.


• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.


• Working closely with LVTs and other members of the veterinary team.


• Contributing to a professional, respectful, and efficient working environment.

Qualifications
