As a busy mixed animal practice, they cater to dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets while offering a diverse caseload from routine wellness to full diagnostic workups. Operating with a 6-Doctor team, they provide cutting-edge facilities and a supportive environment for all experience levels.

The hospital boasts state-of-the-art equipment like Surgical and Cold Laser, Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Acupuncture, ensuring comprehensive care for all animals. With a focus on team culture, monthly meetings, team-building events, and mentorship programs, Dover Area Animal Hospital is committed to professional growth and development.

We are open to Veterinarians of all experience levels. If you are a new graduate, we offer mentorship at the hospital level as well as one-on-one training with our mentor veterinarian via a specialized 12-month formal mentorship program. At Dover you can expect a diverse medical and surgical caseload, so you’ll never be bored!

*EXTERNSHIPS* - We offer externships with a travel stipend (Monetary details provided upon applying). Housing is also available at our MDVM Dr. Rubey’s residence where you will have your own floor all to yourself!
