Job summary

Park Hills Animal Hospital, A PetOne Veterinary Hospital, is a well-established practice serving our community for 25 years. We provide comprehensive care for small animals and foster a warm, compassionate environment.

We seek an experienced veterinarian to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis with flexible scheduling (including weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays). You will perform exams, surgeries, and client education, while maintaining records and collaborating with support staff.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in small animal practice.
• State veterinary license in good standing.
• Proficiency in surgical procedures and a broad range of medical treatments.
• Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for educating pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of small animal patients.
• Conduct thorough examinations, make accurate diagnoses, and create effective treatment plans.
• Perform surgeries, including but not limited to spaying/neutering, soft tissue surgeries, and dental procedures.
• Consult with pet owners, offering guidance on preventive care, nutrition, and overall wellness.
• Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and logs per established protocols.
• Collaborate with our dedicated support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and share knowledge with the team.
