Qualifications

About the job General Practice Veterinarian

Responsibilities

• Perform routine medical exams and provide preventive care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals
• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, including performing surgeries when necessary
• Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, behavior, and overall health care for their animals
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they understand their pet's condition and treatment plan
• Maintain accurate medical records and keep up-to-date with all necessary paperwork
• Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education opportunities as needed
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
